NOTES BY OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 a greenish yellow color with shades tending to straw. The consistency of a young and full of life wine;

👃🏻 on the nose: moderately intense and complex, of elegant and fine quality. By swirling the glass, hints of fresh flowers and a light note of chives arrive, a minerality that invites you to taste and stimulates the senses;

👄 on the palate it is a dry wine, which can be drunk with extreme pleasure and with a softness well balanced with hardness. The drink is fresh without falling into acidity, the minerality perceived in the nose is also found in the mouth. It is precisely this freshness-flavor game that invites you to sip again and again. It never tires your mouth. The quality of the wine is fine, without any smudging.

FOOD PAIRINGS

A wine to drink "as it is", in its fascinating frankness, right from the start. It can also be tasted alone, it does not need external help to enhance its pure and good character. What if we want to pair it with something? Vegetables in batter, cold rice, light dishes, with not too marked seasonings; potato gnocchi.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

Verdicchio 60%, Bombino 20%, Grechetto 20%, grown in the hills of the Castelli Romani, facing the sea. Organic grapes, softly pressed and fermented in concrete vats with only native yeasts.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

its fascinating frankness.

ORIRIN

TERROIR

We are in Lazio, a region that has been able to distinguish itself with wines such as Cannellino di Frascati or Cesanese del Piglio, Frascati Superiore and other realities of great depth. However, these are not the only actors in the wine show of this wonderful region. Here we are, in particular, in the Castelli Romani area.
Viticulture in the area has very ancient origins: already in Roman times, production was vast and under development, so much so that Domitian was forced into the first century B.C. to limit the introduction of new plants to prevent wheat cultivation from being overshadowed. The hills are largely of volcanic origin and the numerous small lakes - craters of extinct volcanoes - are clear evidence of this. The soils are volcanic with arenaceous, clayey and marly sediments that give the wines a good aromatic and structure.

WINERY

The winery was founded in 2003 in the small town of Genzano di Roma, with a simple and decisive belief: to bring the quality of a territory inside the bottle, without upsetting the rhythms of nature and the vine. Located in the countryside of Velletri, 480 meters above sea level, in the hills of the Castelli Romani, the company aims to promote the native and historic vines of the place, without disdaining the grafting of new vines. Family-run, all the work is carried out in the company with passion, sweat and dedication, in an organic agronomic regime, according to a green policy in the vineyard and in the cellar, which is decidedly respectful. The company also offers welcome services for visitors and guided tastings to fully appreciate their "philosophy", not only of work, but also of life.

Fresco, equilibrato, divertente.

Un Verdicchio 100% che incanta con la sua freschezza e mineralità, esplorando un territorio vulcanico dai terreni ricchi. Beva divertente, acidità equilibrata e persistenza media.
