NOTES FROM OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 Intense straw yellow with golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage;

👃🏻 intense notes emerge on the nose yellow fruit, almond, bread crust, dry pastries and a clear mineral imprint;

👄 on the palate it is fresh and elegant, the finish is savory and very persistent, with beautiful fruity returns already perceived on the nose.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATION

An important bubble, very elegant and tasty, which requires pairings with equally refined dishes. Perfect for an aperitif, a glass should be enjoyed alone and is perfect with shellfish-based dishes, fish appetizers or fresh or medium-aged cheeses.

REFINEMENT

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

its persistence and elegance.

TERRITORY OF ORIGIN

TERROR

We are in Ala, in the province of Trento, in the Trentino Dolomites. It is a unique area for growing vines. Under the layer of topsoil we find a soil composed of compact moraine silty-clay sand rich in scattered gravelly and pebbly elements. Inside, the area is characterized by plots with different morphological, location and microclimate characteristics.
The morphology of the landscape alternates areas with more evident slopes, covered by woods, with flatter surfaces, partly arranged in terraces, often supported by dry stone walls on the downstream side.

A mild continental alpine climate with the Dolomites shielding the region from the cold northern winds and Lake Garda with its mitigating influence.
The strong temperature variations between day and night, an average temperature of 18° C during the growing season, and the presence of frequent rainfall are the ideal ingredients for harvesting quality, perfectly ripe grapes.

CELLAR

Borgo dei Posseri is a company from Ala, in the Trentino Dolomites, and is made up of an area of 21 hectares of vineyards, while woods, meadows and pastures also alternate around it. The lands, already used for mountain pastures, have been transformed into vineyards since 2000, following the most innovative wine-growing techniques, trying to maximize the natural beauty of the area. Great attention was also paid to the selection of young vines that come from the best nurseries in Europe, all with the aim of creating fine wines with a well-defined character.

The production orientation is to enhance the environmental variety (morphology, exposure, location, origin and characteristics of the land) through a vine-environment combination such as to create wines with a strong personality and originality.
The espalier-trained vineyards with Guyot pruning fit into this context. The cultivated vines are: Müller Thurgau, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Merlot and other varieties for experimental purposes.
The climatic conditions of the site allow the vines to express levels of finesse and persistence of absolute value.
