NOTES FROM OUR SOMMELIERS
👁 Straw yellow with fine and persistent perlage;
👃🏻 on the nose it expresses itself with elegant fruity hints, with beautiful fragrant notes of yeast;
👄 in the mouth it is fresh and fruity, in perfect balance between acidity and structure, which gives it a very pleasant drinking harmony.
RECOMMENDED COMBINATION
A very versatile Trento DOC, which expresses a unique fragrance. For this reason he prefers fresh but characterful dishes. Excellent as a refined aperitif, it pairs very well with fish and shellfish-based starters, seafood or fish-based first courses. We recommend it with salmon tartare flavored with citrus fruits.
REFINEMENT
Manual harvesting and limited production in balance with the mountain environment. Prepared the cuvée in spring, draft. It rests on the yeasts for at least 24 months before disgorgement.
YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...
elegance.
TERRITORY OF ORIGIN
TERROR
We are in the Trento DOC area, home of renowned bubbles, which stands out for elegant wines that express a unique concept of territoriality. The success and particularity of the Trento DOC sparkling wine is due precisely to the characteristics of the territory: the combination of climate, different altitudes, soils and savoir faire Trentino make Trento DOC not just a simple sparkling wine, but a highly prized mountain sparkling wine, increasingly recognized and awarded. The Trentino area, although small, is covered by 10,000 hectares of vines with a percentage of grapes destined for the production of sparkling wine equal to 8% and a total production of 7 million bottles per year. The vines can enjoy different climates: we go from a mountain microclimate to the milder one of Garda. Factors such as the altitude of the vineyard and the temperature range play an important role in the ripening of the grapes, influencing the organoleptic characteristics of the wines. The varieties grown for Trento DOC sparkling wine are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The surface area of organic vineyards in Trentino is continually increasing, a natural consequence of the attention and responsibility of sparkling wine producers towards the healthiness of their products.
CELLAR
The company takes its name from the current owner and his grandfather of the same name, a family that has dedicated itself to vines for hundreds of years (since 1607) in the Adige Valley, a border land very suited to quality viticulture.
The bond with the mountains and the harmony with its people have always been a stimulus for Albino to grow and maintain a strong connection with the past. «Grapes from the past and the recovery of our memories are my modernity», he says looking at his vineyards.
There are 15 hectares of vineyards cultivated by Albino Armani, for a small and well-kept production.
