👃🏻 the nose is delicate and expresses itself with a bouquet of fruity aromas and intriguing mineral hints;

👄 on the palate it is fresh, drinkable and harmonious.

FOOD PAIRINGS

It does not dominate but rather pleasantly accompanies dishes. Pleasant as an aperitif, it goes best with light starters, asparagus, speck, pasta, risottos, chicken.
Excellent with white meat main courses, it goes particularly well with fish main courses, fried or grilled.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

From a vineyard of one and a half hectares at 650 metres above sea level planted in 1996, sylvaner grapes grown in a gravelly-loamy and calcareous soil, hand-picked with selection of the bunches in the vineyard. Fermentation at controlled temperature, maturation in steel.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

its drinkability.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

We are located in South Tyrol, an area highly suited for the production of white and red wines. The vineyards in South Tyrol are located at altitudes between 200 and 1000 metres and the vines grow on very different soils. The autochthonous Lagrein variety, for example, prefers warm gravelly or sandy soils, while the local Gewürztraminer grape variety is at its best on clay and very calcareous soils.
Unique are the stony dolomitic limestone soils, which are especially widespread in the southern offshoots of the Wine Route and originate from the famous UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites mountain massif. Due to their mineral characteristics, these warm and very permeable soils are especially ideal for producing full-bodied and strong-tasting white wines.

WINERY

The Rottensteiner family - whose winery is located in Bolzano - produces Cabernet, Lagrein, Blauburgunder, Müller Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller, Lagrein Kretzer, Rulander, St. Magdalener, Sylvaner, Weissburgunder. In their wines, native South Tyrolean grape varieties are combined with international varieties, which have adapted best to the unique terroir of South Tyrol, making it their adopted home. In 7 hectares of vineyards, unique labels are created, wines that are the identity of the region and truly encapsulate the true essence and soul of an area.
