TERRITORY OF ORIGIN:
TERROR
We are in the area of Savoy .
Although the vineyard part of the area is not large, it produces very interesting wines . The landscapes of Savoy are known for their natural beauty.
The Savoyard microclimates are particular and, despite their diversity, enjoy a good sunshine index and are characterized by very marked traits , which gives the wines a recognizability that combines well with the savoir faire of the local winemakers. The vineyard extends at the foot of the Alps, across 4 departments: Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Isère and Ain. With a surface area of almost 2000 hectares, distributed mainly in the departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the wines of this region are proud of their Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) with very varied terroirs.
CELLAR
Philippe Grisard, who has a history of three generations of winemakers , he has always been passionate about local vines and the territory.
A mountain man, in 2010 he reoriented his business to Cruet, a small Savoyard village located at the foot of the Bauges Massif Regional Natural Park. The vineyard is distributed over six municipalities.
The diversity of the soils allows the production of a great variety of wines. Convinced that the future of the area's vineyards lies in the authenticity and valorisation of local Alpine vines, Philippe actively contributes to the new image of the sector. Between tradition and innovation, his wines reflect his idea of wine and his land.
