NOTES BY OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 of a beautiful pale pink with very fine perlage;

👃🏻 on the nose it expresses hints of fruity notes (apple and grapefruit), iodized notes and bread crust;

👄 on the palate it stands out for its very marked personality, with acidity and sapidity that are the protagonists. Very elegant.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Murgo Brut Rosè is a fresh and very drinkable wine, of great elegance and character: it pairs perfectly with fresh and light food, and with refined and high-class cuisine. Try it with salmon with dill.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

A true Murgo icon. 100% carefully selected Nerello Mascalese grapes, characterized by more than 2 years of refermentation in the bottle. The wine undergoes a short maceration on the skins for a Classic Method (Champenoise) of great freshness, with a volcanic minerality that distinguishes all the products of this beautiful winery.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR..

its freshness, fragrance and character.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

Etna is a wine region that offers unique wines in the world panorama.
Thousands of years of powerful eruptions, complex transformations, and volcanic events still active today, have made the soil that welcomes the vine the unifying product of that exclusive and unattainable complexity that becomes the founding heritage of a wine increasingly famous all over the world. In the Etna area there are substantial microclimatic differences between one area of the volcano and another, due to the peculiar position of Etna and its morphology. The territory, the microclimate, the volcanic soil rich in minerals, together with the peculiarity of the indigenous vines, for the production of unique wines.
The wine of Etna, in fact, was the first Sicilian table wine to obtain the recognition of the Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC).

WINERY

Etna: a great territory of great wines, under the eye of the storm due to the explosion on national and international markets of its oenological excellence. The winery is located in Sicily, a stone's throw from the sea, but in reality we are in the mountains above a volcano, at an altitude of 800 meters.
All these elements drive the palate crazy and the same emotion communicated by the centenary vineyards that climb up to the slopes of the volcano. Murgo has always believed in the sparkling potential of this great terroir! In 1981, Baron Emanuele Scammacca del Murgo decided to transform the family's landholdings into modern farms and in the following years his sons and brothers also joined the company. In 1982 the first Etna Rosso was bottled and in 1990 the first Murgo Brut Classic Method sparkling wine. Murgo is today the reference point for the Classical Methods of the whole area, but also a stylistic expression capable of transcending regional borders.
