NOTES BY OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 of a beautiful bright straw yellow;

👃🏻 on the nose it expresses a fruity bouquet (ripe yellow fruit), floral (wild flowers) with a finish that recalls citrus notes;

👄 on the palate it is complex, intense with harmonious and juicy aromas, which give a soft and long sip.

FOOD PAIRINGS

The Pinot Grigio of the Fratelli Muraro is a very versatile wine with freshness, flavor and aromatic persistence. These characteristics make it pair well with fresh, light and seasonal dishes. We recommend trying it with raw ham, appetizers and shellfish, as well as with delicate and not too structured first fish courses.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

At the end of the manual harvest, which takes place at full phenolic ripeness of the grapes, with selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, they are softly pressed to extract only the flower must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Before bottling, the wine ages for 6 months in steel tanks on its fine lees, in order to enrich its structure and complexity.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

its versatility, complexity and freshness.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

The winery is located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the vines grow luxuriantly between the Piave river and Monte Pizzocco, in that small fertile side of Venetian land near Belluno. The soil is mainly foothills and allows the cultivation of international vine grapes such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, grapes that love cool temperatures and do not fear harsh winters that give complexity and freshness to local wines.

WINERY

The Muraro family has always tried to make their land and products re-known. The idea has been in the Muraro DNA for centuries now, starting with the Muraro hotel in Santa Giustina and the ancient cellar where grandfather Bepi produced wine and distributed it in the Belluno area, in Northern Italy.

Today the owners of the winery are the four brothers - Elena, Laura, Alberto and Maria - who produce typical and excellent wines according to the oldest family traditions started by their grandfather. The viticulture practiced by the winery is inclined to organic principles and prohibits the use of chemicals and herbicides to safeguard the vitality of the environment and of wine itself.

Veramente un buon vino, piacevolmente stupito dal sapore in bocca nonostante io non sia amante dei bianchi fermi
