NOTES FROM OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 a beautiful bright straw yellow;

👃🏻 the nose expresses a fruity bouquet (Williams pear, lemon zest) and floral, with hawthorn and white orange blossom;

👄 on the palate it is fresh, elegant and drinkable. Very pleasant.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATION

A lively and fresh sparkling wine that pairs well with light dishes. To maximize the tasting experience, pair with seafood, fresh appetizers, salads, sushi, and light cheeses such as mozzarella or goat cheeses. Its freshness blends perfectly with delicate flavors, creating a balanced and pleasant combination.

REFINEMENT

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

his freshness.

TERRITORY OF ORIGIN

TERROR

We are in Molise, in the province of Isernia, which links its production of DOC wines above all to the rediscovery and valorization of the Tintilia vine, once used to strengthen the color of other wines and is now an increasingly appreciated DOC wine. Isernia is located in a hilly area between the Carpino and Sordo rivers, surrounded by very dense woods, by the Matese mountains and the Mainarde mountains with an altitude varying between 285 and 905 metres.
It is an area at high seismic risk with intense telluric activity.
The Pentro d'Isernia or Pentro (with the white, rosé and red variants, the latter also in the Reserve typology) takes its name from the ancient population of the Pentri, "the people of the mountains", the most important of the Samnite lineage ; it is the only DOC in the region and still has a lot to develop.

CELLAR

In the ancient estate of Principe Pignatelli, the Valerio family has passionately recovered local viticulture since 1974, with special attention to the native vines of Sannio Pentro.

Always farmers, the family activities have been enriched with the wine production of new suggestions and oenological values. The attention paid to the ancient vines and the territory are the spirit that animate the Valerio winery, which is the only producer of Pentro wine (one of the rarest wines in the world), and was the first to create a Classic Method in its territory.

The strong temperature variations favor the production of wines with an intense and decisive character, in the name of an authentic agricultural vocation.
