TERRITORY OF ORIGIN:

TERROR

We are in Salento, in the southernmost area of ​​Puglia . The ancient Land of Otranto, famous for its thousand-year history closely linked to the Mediterranean Sea which bathes it. Salento is one of the regions in Italy where the winemaking tradition has distant roots , as quality wine has been produced here for 3000 years. The warm climate and diversity of soils are ideal places for growing vines. The main vines are: Negroamaro and Primitivo. Negroamaro is a full-bodied red wine, with a full structure and a brilliant colour. On the nose it has a strong but at the same time fruity aroma, with a slightly bitter and rounded taste. These characteristics are conferred by the grape variety : Negroamaro has rather large grapes, very dark in color and with sweet, juicy pulp. The harvest is quite late and the bottle aging is rapid (from 6 to 12 months). The past used for the production of numerous wines, in recent years there is a growing trend towards its vinification in purity, increasingly appreciated for its elegance.


CELLAR

Vincenzo Nacci is a young and dynamic winemaker. In 2018 he inherited the passion for wine from his grandfather Giuseppe and decided to take back the old vineyards of Negroamaro, Primitivo di Manduria and Susumaniello in the municipality of Mesagne in Salento.

The traditional management of the vineyards merges with a vision of great respect for the environment and quality. Vincenzo grows a vineyard of 11.5 hectares of vineyards, organically .
