REFINEMENT
With this wine, Casata Monfort has set itself the goal of transforming its best chardonnay and pinot noir hillside grapes into high-end classic method bubbles.
The vortex of freshness and flavour given by the chardonnay is enriched with the elegance of the pinot noir.
The Monfort Cuvée '85 Trento Doc is precious, iconic, solid. The finesse of this sparkling wine, produced in compliance with the Trento Doc Classical Method regulations, is obtained from a careful selection of grapes and an ageing of 24 months on the lees.

it's fragrance, freshness and elegance.
ORIGIN
TERROIR
We are in the Trento DOC area, home of renowned bubbles, which is distinguished by elegant wines that express a unique concept of territoriality.
The success and uniqueness of Trento DOC sparkling wine is due precisely to the characteristics of the territory: the combination of climate, different altitudes, soil and Trentino savoir faire make Trento DOC not just a simple sparkling wine, but a highly prized mountain sparkling wine that is increasingly recognised and rewarded. The Trentino territory, although small, is covered by 10,000 hectares of vines with a percentage of grapes destined for sparkling wine production of 8% and a total production of 7 million bottles per year.
The vines enjoy different climates: from a mountain microclimate to the milder climate of Lake Garda. Factors such as the altitude of the vineyard and the temperature range play an important role in the ripening of the grapes, influencing the organoleptic characteristics of the wines.
The varieties grown for Trento DOC sparkling wine are chardonnay and pinot Noir. The area of organic vineyards in Trentino is constantly increasing, a natural consequence of the attention and responsibility of the sparkling wine producers towards the wholesomeness of their products.
WINERY
The history of the Monfort Winery began in 1945 in Palù di Giovo, in the Cembra Valley.
In 1951, the activity was transferred to the new headquarters in Lavis and in the mid-sixties, with the purchase of the cellars of Palazzo Monfort, the company expanded significantly.
Today, under the name of "Cantine Monfort", several product lines come to life: "Casata Monfort", Trento DOC and "Terre del Föhn": all of these wines are aimed at enhancing the territory and its potential.
The winery's activity has always been aimed at respecting traditions and seeking quality, with the objective of creating a project to enhance the value of autochthonous vines, including lesser known ones such as San Lorenzo, Wanderbara, Veltliner and Vernaza.
