FOOD PAIRING
Manzoni Bianco di Mas dei Chini is a very versatile wine with freshness, sapidity and aromatic balance, which is why it goes well with fresh, light and seasonal dishes. We recommend trying it with Trentino cold cuts and cheeses, with white meats and fresh fish.
REFINEMENT
This pure Manzoni Bianco comes from the estate's highest vineyards, located 500 metres above sea level on a hill overlooking Trento.
It is vinified in stainless steel containers, where 90% of the wine is aged on the fine lees, while the remainder is placed in wooden barrels. A fresh and subtly perfumed white wine, which wins you over with its innate elegance typical of wines from high altitudes.
YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...
its freshness, intensity and balance.
ORIGINS
TERROIR
The Trento area, as well as for its Trento DOC sparkling wines, is famous for its elegant white wines, typical of the cultivation of grapes in high altitude soils.
In an area largely occupied by mountains, the vineyards are situated at an altitude of between 200 and 900 metres above sea level, in an environment with climates characterised by large daily temperature ranges that give the grapes aromatic complexity, elegance and freshness. In addition, the drainage and aeration conditions of the Trentino soil give the wine a surplus of taste complexity.
WINERY
The Mas dei Chini winery is a small farming business in the hills north-west of Trento. The history is that of the Chini family since 1906, in Segno, a small village in the Val di Non. First farmers and then wine growers, the members of the Chini family have always stood out for their spirit of initiative and avant-garde ideas.
The focus of the winery is the 19th-century farmhouse on the Nassi di Cadino hill in Trento, which dominates the area with its 5 hectares of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer vineyards. It is from this very Maso that the Chini family obtain their wine, and it is here, in the depths of the hill, that they refine and age their fine Trento DOC wines.
