NOTES FROM OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 of a beautiful pale straw yellow;

👃🏻 on the nose a fresh bouquet with fruity hints of yellow fruit and citrus fruits, with delicate notes of elderberry;

👄 on the palate it is drinkable and has a fresh and savory taste, with fruity and floral aromas, while the finish evolves into a mineral note.

FOOD PAIRINGS

A fresh and fragrant classic method. For this reason he prefers dishes characterized by a certain fatness. Try it with aperitifs, first courses and fish-based main courses. An advice? Try it with salmon fillet flavored with green pepper.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

Organic Pinot Noir, harvested by hand with selection of bunches processed with the Classic Method. First spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. Second fermentation with dried Garganega must, aging on the lees for 24 months. No sugar added.

YOU'LL LOVE IT FOR...

its freshness.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

The winery is located among the morainic hills of the lower Lake Garda. Vines have been growing on these hills since the Bronze Age. The Romans then produced wine in the various rural villas whose remains have been found in various areas of the lake (Sirmione, Desenzano). The production continues in the Middle Ages, in the monasteries that arise around the lake. Today, well-kept vineyards and olive groves characterize the landscape of the hills surrounding the coast. The southern part of Lake Garda is characterized by the gentle hills of the morainic amphitheater that embrace the coast from east to west: they are the reliefs formed by the accumulation of debris transported by the glacier which gave life to the lake during the glaciations. They are lands specially suited to the cultivation of vines.

In Veneto, the presence of the mountain ranges and the vast portion of the plain offers considerable temperature variations between summer and winter, mitigated near Lake Garda and in the coastal area. Veneto is the first region of Italy for wine production; it is also very rich in native vines, including garganega, trebbiano di Soave, white grape prosecco (or glera), corvina, rondinella, molinara and raboso and the semi-unknown Turkish black grape variety.

From the point of view of the soils, the Veneto has territories characterized by alluvial and volcanic soils, which allows the production of wines of numerous types, from light and drinkable ones, to full-bodied and important wines.

WINERY

Quadrivium is a small winery born in 2014 by the will of two brothers, Stefano and Massimo Brutti. Their vineyards are located on soils of morainic origin with a calcareous-clayey matrix, chalk pebbles and deeper clay veins together with limestone.

Their style is characterized by the search for balance. From the management of the well-kept and respectful land to the grassed vineyard, to the interventions reduced to the minimum necessary in the cellar, up to the balance in the glass. Manual harvest and pressing very shortly after the harvest to maintain the integrity of the grapes which then ferment spontaneously, only in steel at a controlled temperature.

In a certified organic regime they cultivate Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Garganega, Cortese, Trebbiano, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Marzemino, for a small and precious production of 60,000 bottles: direct and agile wines, characterized by a beautiful acidity.
