NOTES BY OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 of a beautiful straw yellow with greenish reflections;

👃🏻 on the nose it expresses complexity and richness of aromas, especially floral, ranging from ripe fruit to broom flowers to light spicy notes;

👄 on the palate it is very pleasant, balanced, intense, with a finish that invites the next sip.

FOOD PAIRING

An intense, complex, fresh and savory wine. Its versatility makes it perfectly combinable with dishes that have a slight bitter tendency, greasiness and succulence.
We recommend it with fish-based dishes, but also white meats, first courses of land, creamed risottos.
An advice
? Try it with San Daniele raw ham, for a combination of territory.

WINE MAKING AND REFINEMENT

Grapes of the native Friuli, on a vineyard about 100 meters above sea level.
Soft pressing of the grapes, decanting, fermentation at a controlled temperature, resting on the noble lees until bottling.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...
its versatility, complexity and intensity.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

The company is located in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
This region is characterized by versatility in climates and soils and is known throughout the world for the production of great white wines.

Especially, the company is located in the territory of San Quirino, in the upper western Friuli, in the province of Pordenone, it is characterized by the proximity of the Friulian Dolomites and the microclimate is influenced by an accentuated temperature range, since there are no hills to act as a barrier between the mountains and the plateau.

This guarantees great complexity and quality in the grapes and in the glass.

WINERY

The Russolo farm was founded in 1974, when Iginio and Sonia gave life to their wine project. The turning point took place in 1990, with the purchase of the San Quirino vineyards, then with the construction of the new cellar adjacent to the vineyard in 2000, the year in which the company moved permanently to the "lean lands".

For some years now, the two brothers Antonella and Rino have taken over the reins of the company, always supported by their parents, and have made a change in style, in favor of fresh, mineral and fragrant wines.

The strong presence of pebbles in the soil expresses great minerality determined by the "terroir"
, which in the case of Russolo wines is interpreted in a masterly way, with great wisdom both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and excellent qualitative results in white and corporate wines in reds .
