NOTES BY OUR SOMMELIERS

👁 of a beautiful pale yellow;

👃🏻 to the nose it expresses an intense, characteristic, very powerful aroma with vegetal notes combined with pleasant expressions of fresh fruit;

👄 on the palate it does not betray the expectations expressed on the nose, espressing itself with decision and elegance, with fullness and persistence. Savory and fresh.

FOOD PAIRINGS

This Friulano is a very versatile wine with freshness, flavor and aromatic persistence, which is why it goes well with fresh and light dishes. Ideal on raw ham and delicate and not too structured first courses of fish.

WINE-MAKING AND REFINEMENT

Manual harvest, in the coolest hours of the day. Crushed de-stemming, maceration at room temperature for 5 hours and subsequent soft pressing; after 24 hours the coarser lees are separated and then fermented at a controlled temperature of 18° C; maturation for 6 months on the lees, without racking.

YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR...

its intense territoriality.

ORIGIN

TERROIR

The winery is located in Dolegna del Collio, in the eastern hills of the region. The wines produced in this area are the result of a unique terroir. The optimal pedoclimatic conditions have allowed the cultivation of native vines, born in the Eastern Hills and cultivated here since time immemorial, as well as other varieties from different European areas, which have adapted perfectly here, achieving considerable results in terms of quality.
Friuli Colli Orientali production, strictly limited in terms of quantity, is characterized by manual harvests and the discreet use of the most modern oenological techniques; tradition and modernity come together to maintain the integrity of the product, ensure a high standard of quality and above all give unique sensations to the tasting thanks to the centuries-old and good interaction between local savoir-faire, grape variety and territory.
The native vines grown in the Friuli Colli Orientali area are Malvasia, Picolit, Pignolo, Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Ribolla gialla, Schioppettino, Tazzelenghe, Tocai friulano and Verduzzo friulano. Some grapes are documented since over two thousand years.

WINERY

This Friulian winemaker makes history and traditions handed down from father to son its strong point. Over the years it has definitely grown, always respecting the generous land of the Collio. Ronco Scagnet gives its best in daily work, in constant evolution in the vineyard - in the 12 hectares of vineyards - and in the cellar. Today the production is entrusted to Dimitri who, at his young age, has very clear ideas about the objectives to be achieved: to produce wines with a very strong identity.

Davvero molto buono, coerente con la descrizione. Al naso profuma di erbe e fiori e in bocca è corposo, appagante

equilibrato in tutto

buon equilibrio tra aciditià e alcool, forse un po' troppo fresco, ma in generale molto buono
