This Social Farm involves 10 professionals supported by 12 vulnerable individuals, who find a chance for personal and work redemption through the wine production supply chain. The grapes of the winery, cultivated using organic methods, mostly come from indigenous varieties of the Sarcedo area, at the foot of the Vicenza Prealps.

The hillside exposure, soil characteristics, favorable climate, and careful, passionate work create the ideal conditions for the production of Vespaiolo, the flagship wine of the Breganze DOC.

Veneto

Grapevines have been cultivated in Veneto since the 7th century B.C., perfected by the Romans and continued in the Middle Ages. With Venetian domination from 1405, viticulture almost completely covers the territory, and Veronese wines, thanks to the Adige River, reach Venice. What sets this region apart from many others is the continuous commercial success of its wine products. From the late 18th century, the region experienced a crisis. However, the following century saw a qualitative leap in Venetian wines, also driven by the establishment of the Società Enologica Veronese in 1872. The first edition of Vinitaly took place in 1967.

Veneto has a complex wine production chain. Important areas include the Colline del Garda Veronese and Valpolicella, with Bardolino Superiore DOCG and Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. Worth noting is the interregional Lugana DOC, between the provinces of Verona and Mantua. In the volcanic hills between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza lies the area of Soave Superiore DOCG, Soave DOC, and Gambellara DOC. The Colli Berici DOC, south of Vicenza, is known for its reds based on international varieties and Tocai Rosso. The Breganze DOC area, north of Vicenza, is renowned for its reds and whites based on Vespaiola grapes. In the Paduan area, there are the Colli Euganei with the Moscato Fior d’Arancio DOCG, while to the south lies the Friularo di Bagnoli DOCG. In Treviso, we find the Prosecco DOCG and the Colli di Conegliano DOCG. At the borders with Friuli is the Lison DOCG.

The presence of mountain ranges, hills, and vast plains provides significant temperature variations, mitigated near Lake Garda and along the coast. Veneto is therefore rich in diverse wines, made with both native and international grape varieties that find a second home here.

Vicenza

The province of Vicenza is one of the seven provinces in the Veneto region. It offers a remarkable variety of white and red wines, with designations of origin such as Vicenza DOC, Colli Berici DOC, Gambellara DOC, Breganze DOC, Lessini Durello DOC, and Arcole DOC, the latter shared with the province of Verona.

The Colli Berici, located south of the provincial capital, are characterized by volcanic soils and a mild climate. Here, wines such as Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Nero, and Sauvignon are produced, but the most distinctive wines are Tai Rosso, obtained from the Tocai Rosso grape variety, and Garganego, produced with the indigenous Garganega grape.

The Vicenza DOC denomination covers a vast area from the Berici zone south of the capital to the foothills in the northeast of the province. This heterogeneous territory includes plains, hills, mountains, streams, rivers, and small lakes. Wines produced under this designation include Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Raboso, Chardonnay, Garganega, Moscato, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and Sauvignon, among others.

The Gambellara DOC area is located at the foothills of the Lessini Mountains and boasts a long tradition of winemaking. The main wines produced are Gambellara, with a straw yellow color and dry taste, Recioto di Gambellara, a sweet and harmonious wine, and Vin Santo di Gambellara, with an amber yellow color and sweet taste.

The Breganze DOC covers 12 municipalities in the hilly area between the Brenta and Astico rivers. Here, Vespaiolo is produced, a fresh and pleasant wine, and Torcolato, a passito wine with a golden yellow color and sweet and velvety taste, along with various types based on local and international grape varieties.

The province of Vicenza and its wines:

- Arcole DOC
- Breganze DOC
- Colli Berici DOC
- Colli Berici DOC subzone Barbarano
- Gambellara DOC
- Lessini Durello DOC
- Monti Lessini DOC
- Prosecco DOC

Vicenza, with its rich wine heritage, represents one of the excellences of the Veneto region.
