RECOMMENDED COMBINATION

This Garganega delivers many matching solutions . It prefers fish-based dishes, but does not disappoint with more intense first courses, white meats and fresh cheeses. Try it with vegetable appetizers such as quinoa giardiniera, for a vegan solution.

The company is located in Veneto, in Gambellara, a historic municipality for the cultivation of vines. It is characterized by soils of volcanic origin on which Garganega is grown with great success. It includes a DOCG, for Recioto di Gambellara.

The Strada del Recioto includes the municipalities of Gambellara, Montebello Vicentino, Montorso Vicentino and Zermeghedo, in which itinerant walks are organized to discover the vineyards and the Garganega grape, the variety of the territory, which produces the white, passito and dry wines of the DOC .


CELLAR

Bakari was born from the desire of various professionals in the world of wine to create an offer that didn't exist: a line of natural wines, well made, at an accessible cost that met specific requirements: easy to drink, democratic but not conceptual , secular and frivolous, without superstructures: good and natural wines within everyone's reach.

A project born from the discussion and collaboration of a winemaker, an oenologist, a selector, a restaurateur and an artist.

The experience that gave birth to this project is that of Raffaele Bonivento, who previously worked in Vinnatur and Porthos; Stefano Menti, well-known and important winemaker of the family business in Gambellara who works in a biodynamic regime and is an interpreter of Garganega. Luca Furlin, the restaurateur, creator and owner together with his sister of the Local, an emerging reality in Venetian catering. In a very short time it has become an international reference, both from the point of view of cuisine and in terms of the proposal of natural wines. And then there is Emanuela Tortora, sommelier and illustrator.

A young reality that is making its way in the world of natural wine for the quality of its products.
