Arco dei Angeli was born from my desire to enhance one of the most beautiful territories in the world, making everyone experience the colors and flavors of the Marche. We are on the top of a hill in the heart of the Conero park, surrounded by wheat fields, vineyards and olive groves.
Our main production focuses on Montepulciano , king of the territory and main protagonist of the Conero DOC. Our wines are the result of precise corporate philosophical choices: to put our grapes in a position to fully express the territory. This is why we pay particular attention to the management of the vineyards and the care of the nature that surrounds us. This is how our 5 wines were born (Rosso Conero DOC and DOCG, Marche Bianco and Rosato, Brut Rosé), which combine character, stylistic coherence, harmony, aromas, care and elegance; but we also produce grappa, oil, chocolate, jams and the honey that our bees produce.
We have also created a delightful Bed & Wine a few steps from the vineyards and cultivated fields: a beautiful structure where you can immerse yourself in the life of the cellar and the countryside, in the name of nature and well-being, where you can spend moments of relaxation in one of the most suggestive of the Marche, to discover the colors and flavors of this splendid region.
The wines that are offered in selection are Rosso Conero DOC and Rosso Conero DOC Riserva:
RED CONERO DOC
Intense ruby color with violet hues, which will tend towards garnet as maturation progresses. On the nose, intense and persistent aromas of small red fruits, morello cherries and plums which, after oxygenation, turn towards myrtle and juniper, characteristics of Petit Verdot.
In the mouth it is soft and enveloping, and the notes of white pepper stand out on the finish.
RED CONERO DOC RESERVE
At least 2 years in French and American oak barriques . The optimal time to best express its characteristics is between 3 and 10 years but it can age longer, acquiring softness and evolving aromas. Intense ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose, ripe red berry fruit predominates, blackberry jam, berries and plum are recognisable. The vanilla notes (of spices, chocolate and leather) are attributable to the type and toasting of the barriques .
