Stage #22 of Sommelier Wine Box (January 2020, led by Simone Loguercio - best sommelier in Italy 2018 ) was a wonderful journey into the Cilento of wine .

Cilento shows off all its richness here, in terms of history and gastronomic excellence, which I propose is a journey marked by time, by ancient farms, by centuries-old woods. from Greek ruins, through forgotten flavours, scents and small glimpses of everyday life . It is a micro-world of stories, vineyards and thoughts . It is a land of stubborn expectations and resilient hearts of hills, mountains and coasts, you can meet singular realities of winemakers, each with a philosophy and a particular terroir , but all agreeing on a concept: "Wine in itself does not exist in nature, man creates it And to do this he must respect nature, the vineyards and know the exact moment to make it wine. The true one of its kind”. This is why Simone chose Cilento, which is also his homeland we discovered together: Luigi Maffini , Casebianche , Viticoltori De Conciliis .
