Step #12
Stage #12 of Sommelier Wine Box (March 2019) was a special stage, in which we celebrated the first birthday of Sommelier Wine Box by proposing three wineries among the most loved by our customers: it was like meeting an old friend, rereading a great book, coming home.
It was our hymn to all of Italy's wine , from Sicily to Veneto, passing through Piedmont. A journey to discover authentic winemakers, in love with their land and proud to spread its unique products. So here are the Murgo brothers, who grow Nerello Mascalese on the slopes of Etna, because unforgettable wines are born from an extreme land to cultivate. Matteo, who leads the Fontanabianca winery with the enthusiasm of someone who is not yet thirty. Matilde, a great woman of wine, who puts into her wines the richness of the landscape surrounding the Le Fraghe farm, in the splendid setting of Lake Garda.
