Step #30
Stage #30 of the Sommelier Wine Box (September 2020, led by sommelier Simone Celeghin) was dedicated to wineries that create excellent wines in small plots of land!
In addition to the big names in wine, small artisans remain in Italy, anchored to traditions and belonging to the territory, resistant to any homologation. They are enlightened minds who do not fit into categories and give everything to create their best wine, a pure expression of the land from which it comes.
In this selection we have discovered very small companies, which in just a few hectares of vineyards produce excellent wines , in minimal quantities and with extreme care from the vineyard to the cellar, and they do so having always believed in local grapes, even those that have been undervalued for many years.
From Friuli to Calabria , passing through Emilia Romagna and Marche : a journey to discover wines that are products of the territory and of those who know how to interpret it best.
The wineries proposed in the September 2020 selection are: Monticino Rosso , Cosimo Murace , Canus , Arco dei Angeli .
