To guide Stage #10 of Sommelier Wine Box (January 2019) we turned to Roberto Anesi , best sommelier in Italy AIS 2017 .
In wine for more than 20 years, he approached the world of competitions about 10 years ago, winning several. With the spirit of someone who is not satisfied with his own goals, he returned to investing in his education and therefore gained some experiences abroad (including the Master's degree at the Wine Institute in London).
He now combines more than twenty years of experience in managing his restaurant in Canazei with many tastings, in Italy and abroad, carried out for the province of Trento and for the Italian Sommelier Association.
In 2017 he returned to the world of competitions with the aim of the Italian title, which he won at the first attempt . Since then, Roberto has made the sense of responsibility towards producers - and towards the world of wine in general - one of the most beautiful keys with which he interpreted the year of the Italian record for best AIS sommelier, which recently concluded.
He chose for us six wines from very small Trentino producers, people who focus everything on passion, work, heart beyond the obstacle, because he believes that Italian wine must rediscover its deepest values: telling its origins, its history and his wealth .
