It takes us to discover LAVA WINES
To guide Stage #35 of the Sommelier Wine Box (February 2021) we turned to the very passionate Nicola Bettinazzi. Here is his story: «I approached the world of wine in my years in Padua, as a Psychology student at the University... I was a regular visitor to a small wine shop in Piazza delle Erbe together with a group of friends, students like me who were away from home. Together, thanks to the many tastings, we began to fully appreciate the typical wines of the various areas of Italy. Wine was part of our culture, sharing and tasting were tools for dialogue and discovery. That passion was destined to grow: I therefore specialized in the food and wine sector, attending the WSET tasting courses (which I am now completing, at the Austrian Wine Academy), beer and extra virgin olive oil tasting courses, followed by a Master's degree. of Business Administration with specialization in Food and Wine at the Bologna Business School. For years, this passion has transformed into a profession, a path that day by day encourages me to learn more and more about this incredible and fascinating world. I am president of an association that promotes food and wine, organizing training courses and tastings, but also promoting the recovery of some historic vineyards that tell the story of our Trentino valleys.»
