Mosole Winery - S. Stino di Livenza VE
The estate is located in Corbolone, a small hamlet of S. Stino di Livenza in the heart of the Lison-Pramaggiore denomination. The name Lison refers to the classic Tocai, a name we have lost since 2007. Other names used are Tai, in the rest of Veneto, and Friulano obviously in Friuli. The winery is a dream come true thanks to the determination of Lucio Mosole, who passionately cultivates 30 hectares of land and runs his company in an innovative way, respecting traditions. He produces local wines using Guyot systems, aging them both in steel and in wood depending on the best balance he wants to obtain.Moletto Agricultural Company - Motta di Livenza TV
With extraordinary harmony, the Stival family manages this agricultural company which stands where the famous Bosco del Moletto once thrived, which has been known about since the sixteenth century. They cultivate lands suited to wine by ancient tradition, in the municipality of Motta di Livenza and in the Belfiore di Pramaggiore area. The planting density of the vines is around 3,000 plants per hectare in order to avoid root competition between the plants and bring them to bear the right fruit without forcing. This is the company's philosophy, against the current, but proudly in line with respect for the territory .Mazzolada Agricultural Company - Portogruaro VE
The Mazzoladra estate cultivates 95 hectares of vineyards, all within the Lison-Pramaggiore DOC denomination. Most of the vineyards are newly planted, with a density between 3,500 and 4,500 vines per hectare and therefore, also in this case, not extreme. Password: respect for traditions , with the help of cutting-edge techniques and equipment, such as soft pressing, controlled temperature in winemaking and aging in barriques . Essentially clay-limestone soils give fruity and fresh wines, white and red, with interesting vinifications also of sparkling wines, from non-traditional vines, which we discover in the selection. The selected wines
EXPERT BOX
Hora Prima IGT (Chardonnay-Tai-Sauvignon) (14.5% vol) , Mosole
The search for balance is the basis of this important wine which presents itself to us dressed in a beautiful deep straw yellow. The nose is spicy and the sign of partial maturation in wood (Chardonnay) is immediately recognisable: hence white pepper and vanilla. This is followed by vegetal notes given by the late harvest sauvignon which veer towards an evolved floral. Soft and powerful in the mouth, it brings back notes of almond and toasting with a long savory and spicy finish. PAIRING: perfect with raw shellfish or medium-aged Montasio cheese.Brut Millesimato VSQ (13% vol), Moletto
A vintage sparkling wine, with a long stay in autoclave, from Pinot Bianco grapes obtained from clayey-limestone soils with important presences of Caranto which give strength and wonderful freshness. In the mouth it is soft, decidedly brut (sugar between 6 and 12 g/l), refined and elegant, it still gives us notes of freshness with particular fruity notes. PAIRING: wonderful as an aperitif or with fish and vegetables in tempura!Lison Classico DOCG (13.0% vol), Mazzolada
